about
Leave The Light On is about a few things.
It’s about a depression, not manic, just sadness.
Knowing that you’re going to come out of it, you just ask for your love ones to stick by you until you’re feeling better. This tune is also about “lightening the load” for others, no strings attached, EVER.
I wanted to write a feel good, coming out of the darkness, good old fashioned dance number.
I needed it and I know you all did too!
My wish is for you is to be happy and dance.
Please dance to my song.
lyrics
You don't know, what you have
You gotta kick it bit by bit, to understand
I'm gonna keep your love, close at hand
Make it all go away
Leave the light on, leave the light on for me
Leave it here, while you crash
You don't know what you got, but you got it bad
Turn it off, do what you can
Give it all away
Leave the light on, leave the light on for me
Turn the light on
I only know, when I'm sad
I gotta flip the switch, and realize what I have
I gotta skip the trip, and close my tab
Give it all away, Give it all away

So many great songs, so much great playing. Tavern at the End of the World is just one song, this is an album you must listen to and experience all the way through. Rob Moss
